Report Suggest New Surge in Global Gambling
Filed in archive Gambling General on June 22, 2006
A new report by Price Waterhouse Coopers is predicting an annual global rise in gambling of 8.8% - from $82 billion in 2005 to $125 billion in 2010
Macau will see the biggest rise of 14%, whilst the US will see a yearly 6.9% raise to almost $75 billion in 2010.
Other estimates included in the report:
- Nevada will see an annual 8.2% rise - increasing its US market share from 21 to 23%
- Tribal casinos market share will increase 1% to a total 43%
- Atlantic City will see a small increase in revenues but a decrease in overall share
Unfortunately, the report somewhat ignores the growth of online gambling, commenting:
While online gambling is experiencing rapid growth, more impor tant is the expansion of legalized casino gambling in some markets
Its interesting that a major report could glance over internet gambling as if it wasn't occurring

There are many companies offering travel insurance in the United Kingdom. There are three types of coverages in travel insurance. They are medical care in foreign country, Emergency Medical Evacuation (cost will be provided), refund of charges due to sudden cancellations or theft of luggage. Travel Insurance is better to be safe while travelling.
