"Different strokes for different folks" applies in the gaming industry and slot machine manufacturers are finding this out the hard way in Macau.

Slot machines may rule the roost in Las Vegas casinos and most other places in America and Europe but gamblers in Macau prefer wagering against other people and not machines.

Games that have been built specifically for the Macau casinos and others that have been modified are not being played with vigor and neither are the dazzling electronic Table Games.

Despite the inroads into the world of gaming that Macau has made it appears they still have a ways to go to take away Las Vegas' claim as the gaming capitol of the world.
