The Tusk Umfolozi Casino, South Africa, was robbed last night by a 17-strong gang armed with various weapons including AK-47s.
At around 11:40pm the gang, all wearing ski masks, burst onto the gaming floor and ordered gamblers onto the ground. The men then split, some stay to relieve the casino-goers of their cash, others made a bee-line to the vault. The gang made their Escape in a white car, possibly a Ford or Mazda and a second car was hijacked off the road and later found abandoned. The total take has been estimated at R1-million. Amazingly, no-one was hurt.
