The Evolution of a Gambler

Beginning at 16 with cash poker tournaments, by 21 Jason was hitting the lottery and then the casinos. At the casinos, 5 card draw and blackjack were the first games of note. But Jason soon moved into Caribbean Stud and, of course, Texas Hold'em
But why do I think he's not an addict? The article continues by saying that Jason only takes about $2000 with him to gamble with - money he can afford. That, to me, is a 'healthy' gambler. An addict would take $2000 with them and then continually return to the bank for more until they have nothing. Furthermore, his family all know he gambles, as does his friends and girlfriend so there's no hiding anything from loved ones. Not an addict in my book - just a guy who loves to gamble and since this is a gambling-weblog, i'm not too sure there's anything wrong with that
