Thinking of Winning the Lottery? You're more likely to get Divorced

The chances of winning a lottery is less than getting a divorce, getting struck by lightning or being murdered.

So says City Brokerage, Citigroup Smith barney in Australia

In fact, a person is 12 million times more likely to get divorced than win the lottery, whilst the chances of getting murdered in New South Wales is 57,000-1. The chances however of winning the Powerball Lottery is 27.5 million - 1

You've also got even less chance using a 'system' and may as well stick to the 'quick pick' option

This all maybe true - but playing the lottery is also much more fun than divorcing or getting killed - and the life-changing opportunity is also slightly less morbid
