No sooner has Airbus announced the launch of their new 'superjumbo', Richard branson's Virgin-Atlantic have outlined their 'leisure plans' for the A380.
And of course, this will include a casino.
Virgin will take delivery of 6 Superjumbo's in 2008 and will allow passengers to play at their onboard casino.
As Branson claims:
"We'll also have a lot more double beds, so alongside our casino you'll have at least two ways of getting lucky on a Virgin flight," he said.
As far as I can tell, a casino on an aeroplane is officially duty free in International skies – but does that mean across EU states, passengers will be taxed (EU states can't offer duty free goods)? It'll be interesting to see who will govern the casino license – if there needs to be one at all
