Will Casino Gambling Come To Kentucky?

Casino gambling and State Lotteries have been a boon to those states that have permitted them; but, despite the obvious financial rewards, many people are strongly opposed to both.
Such is the case in The Bluegrass State, Kentucky, where the state treasury could use an infusion of funds.
Here in Nevada, the gambling capital of the United States, if not the world, we are one of 7 states without a lottery. As a result tens of thousands of residents, including yours truly, travel to neighboring California or Arizona to buy their lottery tickets.
Apparently Corporate America's casino owners are afraid that they might lose a few bucks to a lottery and they manage to block the efforts of those who want one. As a result the state caves in to the ultra greedy casino owners and loses all that revenue to California and Arizona.
How dumb is that?
The situation is different in Kentucky but there is strong opposition to the establishment of casinos there and gamblers play in neighboring states.
Here's what's happening in Kentucky and the Governor's plans to bring casinos to Kentucky.
