Mobile Las Vegas Gambling

Mobile Las Vegas Gambling

It is already the case in the world of Las Vegas gambling that tourists barely have to leave their hotel rooms to find gambling options available at every turn. Now a new bill that may pass in Nevada would take this concept even further by the lifting of the current prohibition against mobile gambling devices being used in hotel rooms.

Bill 249 looks likely to pass after the Senate Judiciary Committee gave it unanimous approval. Currently, some Vegas casinos already use mobile gambling devices that allow patrons to access some betting options on the go, but these are limited to being used on casino floors which means that most gamblers have no need for them. Some have questioned whether allowing these devices in hotel rooms would just lead to more problem gambling, but legislators say they've taken steps to ensure these concerns will be addressed.
